This plugin add User Panel in your Sidebar, Local avatar and Notifications system
Support for English, Portuguese, Italian and Russian language
Installation
1. Unpack the file «usersidebarpanel.zip» and upload the folder «usersidebarpanel» to «wp-content/plugins/.»
2. Activate from WP’s Plugin Management page.
3. Go to «Options «UserSidebarPanel» and update you options.

1. You need edit your Sidebar template (sidebar.php)
To display the User Sidebar Panel add the command UserSidebarPanel() anywhere within the sidebar loops…

2. Use USP Widget
Usage LocalAvatar:
Function get_avatar should use now so:
get_avatar('', width, height);
Where the first empty parametre remained from the built in function wordpress, has left it here that it was not necessary to edit standard templates wordpress, the width and height are the sizes of display an avatar.
All parametres not obligatory but if you set the sizes an avatar specify before them empty parametre!

your plugin needs some modifications such as the image upload name .. instead of using $userdata->ID, you can use $profileuser->userphoto_image_file and add ‘.»?».».rand().’ for the path so the uploaded image can have the name of the member and a random number so when anyone change his image it can be changed quickly instead of overwrite the old image which needs to make a refresh to see it + you have to fix it to work on folders instead of the root directory ..

Example:

Прекрасный плагин, но не запускается. Видимо он думает, что блог установлен в корневом каталоге и поэтому не может найти файл \wp-admin\users.php

надо немного подождать, сейчас очень много работаю, на плагин времени нету, а то что он не работает когда ВП установлен вне корня сайта, я знаю. Вскоре исправлю =)

great plugin, I noticed the «logout» is not working with wordpress 2.7rc2 on my site.
Great work!!! I am using MS Windows Live Writer to write and update my post. For some reason this plug-in interfieres with the connection process from my PC to the server so I cannot update my post from my PC directly.
I activated and desactivated the plugin a few times so as to validate the problem and no doubt at all. this is the origin of the problem.
Could you please help me with this matter?

Upload doesn’t work – I get a 505 error. A lot are having problems with the upload issue, however they all seem to be different.
Also, you ought to update your code for WP 2.7 for the logout button – look at this article for reference: http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_logout_url
OK, I got the logout to work correctly in 2.7 – just change the logout lines in the functions.php to be:

tried the above logout code, didn’t seem to work, here is the solution I found works well, this will redirect users to the homepage.

replace yoururlhere and yourredrecturlhere with your URL and your redirect location

A very pretty plugin! I’ve not even started playing with it and it already looks good:) One question, though: Is there a way to include OpenID login as well? Because that would just be the icing on the cake.
